PTFA—Volunteers Needed for Chair, Secretary and Treasurer Roles
At the end of this school term, both Sam Nightingale (Chair) and Adam Smith (Secretary) will be stepping down from their roles in the PTFA. In order for the charity to continue supporting our school we urgently need to appoint a new Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
The PTFA plays a vital role in enhancing educational and wellbeing opportunities for all pupils. Every year, thanks to your support, the PTFA raises an average of £10,000 to fund:
• School events that create lasting memories for our children
• IT equipment
• Play equipment
• Learning aids
• Teacher training
• Educational experiences
Without volunteers stepping into these key roles, the PTFA will sadly have to begin the process of winding up the charity, and the benefits it provides to our school community will be lost.
Details of the roles and responsibilities as available below and have also been sent out via a newsletter Alternatively, they can be requested from: twissgreenptfa1@gmail.com.
Nominations must be received by Friday 13 June. This will allow enough time for a handover if volunteers come forward, or for preparations to wind up the charity if not.
If you are interested or would like to discuss what’s involved, please email: twissgreenptfa1@gmail.com.
We’d love to hear from you!
