Welcome to our PTFA

Hi Everyone

I’m Sam and I am very excited to introduce myself as the new Chair for Twiss Green PTFA. Some of you may recognise me from around the village or at least recognise my North East accent. I have Lewis in Year 1 and Harriet who will be starting in September 2022. I am a teacher at Priestley College, I am a netballer and I run a little Body Shop business. My husband Oliver grew up in Culcheth and we moved from the North East in 2013.

The PTFA at Twiss Green has already provided so many amazing things for our children to enjoy and my hope is that I can make a positive contribution to providing further experiences, resources and equipment for all of our lovely children.

I would like to say a huge thank you to our outgoing Co-Chairs Laura & Katherine. It has been a difficult two years for all of us and yet you have kept the PTFA active, providing visits, IT equipment, Bug Club and leavers gifts to name a few, but most importantly happy memories for our children. Another thank you to our fabulous re-joining committee members Amy, Adam, Cate and our existing PTFA members; I really appreciate your support and I look forward to working alongside you.
