Welcome to Twiss Green Nursery, where little minds blossom and grow! Our nurturing environment, creative curriculum and Twiss Green family provide the perfect setting for children aged 3 & 4.

At Twiss Green Nursery, our main aim is to give our youngest learners the best possible start to their learning journey in a nurturing, inspiring, and familiar environment. We strive to create a safe and welcoming space where children feel valued, confident, and curious to explore the world around them.

As part of the wider Twiss Green Primary School community, our nursery is closely linked to the rest of the school, ensuring strong curriculum continuity and consistency in routines, values, and expectations. These close connections help children to feel secure and confident as they move through their early years and prepare for Reception.

Through play-based learning, rich experiences, and strong relationships with families, we support each child’s individual development both socially, emotionally, and academically, laying firm foundations for a lifelong love of learning and a smooth transition into school life.

Chargeable Extras

The below calculations are based on a child accessing a 30 hour funded place. Early years funding is for 38 weeks, however some providers do offer less hours a week but over more weeks of the year.

Government funding is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or additional services. Parents should expect to pay for these services when offered by their chosen provider. Where a parent is unwilling to purchase these additional services, it is reasonable to expect your chosen nursery to ask you to provide your own equivalent items.

Here at Twiss Green Nursery we offer funding over 38 weeks of the year.

Due to children’s varying needs/allergies we ask that parents provide their own nappies (if required), sun creams and any additional items they feel necessary.

If you do not wish to pay for specific consumables, for example, because you wish to provide your own, please make a member of nursery management aware as soon as possible so next steps can be discussed.
