Twiss Green Community Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated EYFS Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Nursery team.

We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to providing a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, valued and inspired to learn.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our Nursery team, working alongside our Nursery and EYFS Leads to further develop our provision and ensure that every child enjoys a happy, positive and enriching start to their learning journey.

• Holds a full and relevant EYFS qualification and has at least two years' experience working in an Early Years setting.
• Has a sound understanding of child development and high-quality Early Years practice.
• Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development through purposeful play and positive interactions.
• Is committed to inclusion and meeting the individual needs of every child.
• Builds warm, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Is enthusiastic about professional development and keen to contribute ideas to further enhance our Nursery provision.
• Is a flexible, proactive team player who shares our high expectations for all children.

We are looking for someone who will bring enthusiasm, warmth and a genuine passion for Early Years education to our team.

The position will be for 29 hours per week, Monday – Friday, term time only, plus one week for staff training. This will be a fixed term position until the end of 2026-27 academic year, with potential to continue into next academic year.

The salary for the post will be based on Grade 4, point 6 -7 (FTE £26,847 – £27,274).
